The level that defined a generation
Tidal Wave is an Extreme Demon level created by OniLink and verified by Zoink in September 2023. Despite its bright beach theme and ocean-inspired visuals, it became one of the hardest levels in Geometry Dash history, holding the top spot on the Demonlist for an incredible fifteen months. Its unique style helps it stand out from the dark, intimidating designs that dominate most top-level Demons.

How the gameplay actually Works
Tidal Wave is almost entirely wave gameplay from start to finish. Not occasional wave sections mixed in with other forms. Tidal Wave is overwhelmingly wave-focused, with wave gameplay dominating nearly the entire level. The corridors are incredibly tight, speed shifts constantly, and nearly every movement needs to be frame perfect. Missing by a pixel ends your run. There is no forgiveness built into this level anywhere.
Controls
Hold to rise in wave mode, release to fall. Simple on paper, brutal in practice. The gap between understanding the controls and executing them through three minutes of Tidal Wave is enormous.
